Customer Support & Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to the Vertières Legacy Support Center. This page provides general assistance for our events, tickets, cultural and educational programs, livestreams, sponsorships, merchandise, community-impact initiatives, and other official Vertières Legacy projects.

Each event, program, product, campaign, or project may also have its own dedicated Frequently Asked Questions, participation requirements, policies, schedules, and terms. Always review the applicable event or project page before completing a purchase or registration.

If information on a specific event or project page differs from this general Support & FAQs page, the specific event or project information, checkout disclosures, order confirmation, and applicable terms will govern.

Response Time

Our team normally responds within one to two business days. Response times may be longer during weekends, holidays, major event periods, or unusually high inquiry volumes.

For urgent event-day assistance, follow the instructions in your ticket confirmation and speak with an authorized Vertières Legacy representative at the event entrance or designated guest-services location.

When contacting us, please include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address used during checkout or registration
  • Your order number, when applicable
  • The name and date of the event, program, or project
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Relevant screenshots that do not display sensitive financial information

Never send full payment-card numbers, bank-account information, passwords, Social Security numbers, security codes, or government identification through ordinary email or the general support form.

Events and Tickets

Purchase tickets only through vertiereslegacy.com or another sales channel expressly identified on the applicable official event page.

Vertières Legacy cannot verify or guarantee tickets purchased through unauthorized individuals, unofficial resale websites, screenshots, forwarded QR codes, or third-party social-media accounts.

Unless a checkout page clearly states otherwise, prices are displayed and processed in United States dollars (USD). Applicable taxes, processing charges, service fees, delivery charges, or other required costs will be displayed before the customer completes the purchase.

After a successful online purchase, a confirmation will be sent to the email address entered during checkout. Depending on the event, the confirmation may include the order number, attendee information, ticket details, a QR code, downloadable ticket, receipt, or instructions for accessing the purchase.

First:

Check the spam, junk, promotions, and deleted-email folders.
Confirm that the payment was completed successfully.
Search your inbox for “Vertières Legacy.”
Allow sufficient time for payment and ticket processing.

If the confirmation is still missing, contact support@vertiereslegacy.com and provide your full name, checkout email, event name, approximate purchase time, and order number if available.

Do not place a second order unless Customer Support confirms that the original transaction failed.

When QR-code admission is used, each valid ticket contains a unique code connected to the applicable order or attendee record. Present the original ticket on a mobile device or in an accepted printed format at check-in.

A QR code is normally valid for one successful admission only. Screenshots, copies, forwarded tickets, or duplicated codes may be rejected after the first successful scan.

Most digital tickets can be presented on a mobile device. However, the applicable event page or confirmation email may provide different instructions.

Before arriving, increase the screen brightness, download the ticket to the device, and make sure it can be opened without depending entirely on venue Wi-Fi or cellular service.

Transfer and name-correction rules may vary by event, ticket category, security requirement, and established deadline. Contact support@vertiereslegacy.com before the event and include the order number and requested correction.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a transfer, resale, reassignment, or name change will be approved.

Do not publicly post, forward, reproduce, or share a valid QR code unless an authorized ticket-transfer process specifically permits it. Vertières Legacy is not responsible when a shared or copied code is used by another person before the authorized attendee arrives.

Refund eligibility is governed by the applicable:

Ticket Terms and Conditions
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Event-specific terms
Checkout disclosures
Cancellation or postponement notice
Applicable law

Purchasing a ticket does not automatically create a right to a refund. Customers should review all event information and policies before completing checkout.

Vertières Legacy will publish or send available instructions through the website, the original purchaser’s email address, official social-media channels, or another appropriate communication method.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable terms, an existing ticket may remain valid, be transferred to a new date or location, qualify for another available option, or become eligible for a refund.

Do not assume that an event has been canceled based solely on unofficial social-media posts or third-party messages.

Yes. Artists, performers, speakers, schedules, program elements, production details, vendors, activities, and featured participants may change for operational, contractual, safety, weather, travel, technical, or other legitimate reasons.

A lineup or schedule adjustment does not necessarily constitute cancellation of the event or automatically create a refund entitlement.

The official event page and order confirmation will identify available information concerning:

Event date and time
Door-opening time
Venue
Address
Check-in procedures
Seating or admission type
Age requirements
Dress code
Parking or transportation guidance
Accessibility instructions
Prohibited items
Security requirements

Customers should review the official event page again shortly before attending because operational details may be updated.

Seating arrangements depend on the ticket or package purchased. An event may use assigned seating, reserved tables, general admission, standing admission, premium areas, or a combination of formats.

Only the inclusions expressly listed on the event page, ticket product, order confirmation, or written package agreement are included.

Package inclusions vary by event. They may include specific seating, table admission, guest capacity, hospitality, recognition, merchandise, parking, or other benefits only when clearly stated.

Do not assume that food, beverages, parking, backstage access, artist interaction, or any other benefit is included unless it appears in the official package description.

Age and identification requirements are established separately for each event. Government-issued identification may be required for age-restricted admission, alcohol service, will-call pickup, ticket verification, security, or other legitimate purposes.

Review the specific event page before purchasing tickets for a minor or another person.

Child-admission rules vary by event and venue. Some events may be family-oriented, while others may have minimum-age requirements or require every attendee, including children, to hold a ticket.

The specific event page will provide the controlling requirements.

Attendees and their belongings may be subject to lawful security screening, bag restrictions, prohibited-item rules, identification checks, and venue procedures.

Refusing to comply with applicable safety, security, conduct, or venue rules may result in denied entry or removal, subject to applicable law and the event terms.

Re-entry rules vary by event and venue. Unless the event page or an authorized representative confirms otherwise, customers should not assume that they can leave and re-enter using the same ticket.

Late-entry procedures vary according to the venue and program. Entry may be delayed until an appropriate break, redirected to another entrance, or restricted when necessary for safety, security, recording, production, or audience experience.

Contact support@vertiereslegacy.com as early as possible and identify the event, date, accommodation requested, and a reliable method of contact.

Vertières Legacy will make reasonable efforts to coordinate available accommodations with the venue and relevant service providers. Venue capabilities and advance-notice requirements may vary.

Photography, livestreaming, audio recording, video recording, press coverage, or other documentation may occur during certain events and programs.

Specific notices, consent requirements, restricted areas, media policies, and recording rules will be provided where applicable. Unauthorized professional recording, commercial use, or interference with an event may be prohibited.

Vertières Legacy does not guarantee admission for tickets obtained through unauthorized resale channels. Event-specific restrictions may apply to resale, transfer, duplication, pricing, or commercial distribution.

The purchaser is responsible for verifying whether an authorized transfer option exists before sending money to another person.

General Programs and Projects

Vertières Legacy develops and presents Haitian cultural and heritage experiences. Activities may include ticketed concerts, galas, balls, exhibitions, vernissages, heritage commemorations, educational programs, community initiatives, livestreams, multimedia presentations, sponsorship activations, related merchandise, and other approved cultural projects.

Only activities officially published as available should be treated as confirmed or open for purchase, registration, application, or participation.

When registration is available, the applicable project page will provide the registration method, eligibility requirements, deadlines, capacity, price, required documentation, and participation terms.

Submitting a registration, application, proposal, or expression of interest does not guarantee acceptance or participation.

Different activities may have different locations, schedules, eligibility rules, deliverables, risks, partners, ticket types, cancellation rules, and participation requirements.

This page supplies general guidance. The dedicated event or project FAQ provides the most relevant information for that specific offering.

The following order generally applies:

A written update or notice issued specifically for the affected order, event, or project
The applicable event or project terms and checkout disclosures
The official event or project page and its dedicated FAQ
The general policies published on the Vertières Legacy website
This general Support & FAQs page

Customers should contact support@vertiereslegacy.com if they believe material information is inconsistent.

Yes. Programs and projects may be updated, postponed, relocated, converted between in-person and virtual formats, or otherwise modified when necessary.

Vertières Legacy will communicate material changes through an appropriate official channel and apply the relevant published policy.

Participation by minors depends on the specific program. Parental or legal-guardian authorization, supervision, identification, media consent, emergency information, or other documentation may be required.

No benefit should be assumed unless it is expressly included in the official program description or written agreement. Participation alone does not guarantee a certificate, award, employment opportunity, performance placement, funding, grant, sponsorship, or future selection.

A waiting list may be used when an event or program reaches capacity. Joining a waiting list does not guarantee admission. Customers should not submit payment unless an official registration or checkout process instructs them to do so.

Livestream and Digital Access

Access instructions will be sent to the purchaser or registered participant using the email address associated with the order. The applicable page may also specify an account, password, access code, supported platform, or viewing period.

Unless otherwise stated, the customer is responsible for having:

A compatible device
A supported and updated browser or application
A stable internet connection
Working audio and video capabilities
The correct login or access information

No, unless the applicable product expressly permits sharing. Access links, passwords, codes, and digital content may be limited to the purchaser, registered participant, household, device, or authorized number of viewers stated during checkout.

Replay availability is determined separately for each program. A livestream purchase does not automatically include permanent access, a replay, a recording, a download, or redistribution rights.

Verify the internet connection, device volume, browser version, access time, email instructions, password, and any platform requirements. If the problem continues, contact support@vertiereslegacy.com promptly and provide the order number, device type, browser, error message, and a screenshot.

Refund eligibility for a digital-access problem depends on the cause, available troubleshooting evidence, service availability, applicable terms, and Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Sponsorships, Partnerships, Vendors, and Collaborators

Contact partnerships@vertiereslegacy.com with the organization’s legal name, website, representative’s name, contact information, proposed level of participation, and the event or initiative of interest.

No. Sponsorships and partnerships require review and written approval. Benefits, prices, payment schedules, brand usage, deliverables, deadlines, cancellation rights, and other terms must be stated in an approved written package, invoice, or agreement.

A sponsor should submit payment only through an authorized Vertières Legacy invoice, checkout page, or other approved payment method connected to a documented sponsorship arrangement.

Do not send payment based only on a social-media message, verbal request, or unofficial document.

Not automatically. Sponsorships generally involve promotional, recognition, advertising, hospitality, access, or other documented benefits.

A payment should not be treated as a charitable or tax-deductible contribution unless an authorized campaign expressly identifies the qualified recipient or fiscal sponsor, applicable tax status, and receipt terms.

Vendor and service-provider opportunities are announced separately. Submitting an application or proposal does not guarantee selection, exclusivity, access, compensation, or permission to sell at an event.

Merchandise and Related Products

Vertières Legacy may offer event-related or branded merchandise when specific products are officially listed as available on the website.

Product descriptions, prices, sizes, colors, materials, inventory, fulfillment method, and applicable restrictions will appear on the relevant product page.

Shipping, pickup, preorder, production, and delivery details will be disclosed before purchase. Fulfillment times may vary by product, destination, carrier, inventory, and whether the item is made to order or connected to a specific event.

Return and exchange eligibility depends on the applicable product description, condition of the item, stated deadline, personalization, hygiene restrictions, and published return policy.

Customers should not return an item without first receiving instructions from Customer Support.

Contact support@vertiereslegacy.com promptly. Include the order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging.

Do not discard the packaging until Customer Support provides instructions.

Estimated preorder production and delivery dates are not guarantees unless expressly stated. Vertières Legacy will communicate material delays and provide any options required by the applicable terms or law.

Cultural Journeys

A Cultural Journey is available for purchase only when its official page expressly states that registration or booking is open and provides an authorized checkout process.

Concepts identified as research, planning, proposed, coming soon, interest only, or under development are not available for purchase. Customers should not submit deposits or travel payments for an unconfirmed journey.

Yes. Any future journey offered for purchase will require its own itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, payment schedule, cancellation terms, participant requirements, operator information, safety information, and dedicated FAQ.

No. Only items expressly listed in the official journey package are included. Customers must review all inclusions and exclusions before submitting a booking or deposit.

Unless the applicable journey terms state otherwise, each traveler is responsible for satisfying passport, visa, immigration, vaccination, health, insurance, and entry requirements.

Sensitive documents should be submitted only through an authorized secure process, never through an ordinary support email.

Cancellation, transfer, credit, refund, and deposit rules will be stated in the specific journey agreement and checkout disclosures. General event-ticket rules should not be assumed to apply to travel services.

Community Impact and Philanthropy

No payment should be treated as a tax-deductible charitable donation unless the applicable official campaign page expressly identifies:

The qualified legal recipient or fiscal sponsor
The charitable purpose
The applicable tax status
How funds will be used
Any material fees or restrictions
The form of acknowledgment or receipt that will be provided

The words “impact,” “benefit,” “community,” “philanthropy,” or “fundraising” do not by themselves make a payment tax-deductible.

Each approved initiative should identify its purpose, geographic scope, intended beneficiaries, responsible organization, payment recipient, partners, timeline, restrictions, and reporting method before accepting public contributions.

Do not submit money unless the initiative is officially active and uses an authorized Vertières Legacy payment page or another clearly identified legal recipient.

A concept, presentation, announcement, expression of interest, or planning document does not necessarily mean that a project is approved to receive funds.

Receipts and acknowledgments depend on the nature of the payment and the legal entity receiving it. A standard payment receipt does not necessarily constitute a charitable tax receipt.

When opportunities are available, the applicable project page will explain volunteer roles, eligibility, background checks, training, schedules, travel responsibilities, safety requirements, and application procedures.

Contact programs@vertiereslegacy.com for general inquiries.

Payments, Billing, and Security

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout and may include payment cards, Stripe-supported methods, PayPal, or other authorized options.

The availability of a particular payment method may depend on the product, customer location, currency, device, and payment processor.

The website uses HTTPS, and online payments are processed through authorized payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal when displayed at checkout.

Vertières Legacy does not ask customers to send complete payment-card information, bank credentials, passwords, or security codes through ordinary email or the general support form.

The applicable statement descriptor should be displayed during checkout or in the order information. Customers who do not recognize a charge should first compare the transaction date and amount with their Vertières Legacy order confirmation.

Contact support@vertiereslegacy.com promptly if assistance is needed.

A pending transaction may be a temporary authorization rather than a completed charge. Banks and payment providers control how long pending authorizations remain visible.

Contact the issuing bank or payment provider if a pending authorization remains longer than expected.

Before placing another order or starting a payment dispute, compare the transaction amounts, order confirmations, pending authorizations, and completed charges.

Contact Customer Support with the order number and transaction date. Do not send the full card number.

A failed payment does not create a confirmed order unless the website and confirmation email state that the transaction was successful.

The customer may verify billing information, available funds, payment authorization, security checks, and applicable bank restrictions before trying again.

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider and issuing financial institution.

Vertières Legacy does not control how quickly a bank displays an approved refund after it has been submitted.

For an unfamiliar charge, duplicate charge, missing refund, or order concern, contact Vertières Legacy Customer Support first when reasonably possible. Early communication often allows the issue to be investigated without unnecessary delay.

Nothing on this page limits any rights available under applicable law or card-network rules.

Privacy and Account Assistance

Information collected depends on how a person interacts with the website and may include contact details, billing information, order records, attendee information, registration responses, communications, preferences, technical information, and other data described in the Privacy Policy.

Payment-card information is handled by the applicable payment processor according to its systems and privacy practices.

Contact support@vertiereslegacy.com and clearly describe the request. Identity verification may be required before personal information is disclosed, corrected, or deleted.

Certain information may need to be retained for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, contractual, or dispute-resolution purposes.

For privacy and security reasons, Customer Support may limit account and order information to the purchaser, attendee, authorized representative, or another person whose identity and authority can be reasonably verified.

Official website information is published on vertiereslegacy.com. Authorized email communications should come from an approved @vertiereslegacy.com address or a clearly identified payment, ticketing, or communication provider.

Be cautious of urgent payment requests, altered bank instructions, unofficial QR codes, unknown payment links, and social-media accounts requesting sensitive information.

Policies and Additional Information

Please review the following documents before purchasing, registering, or participating:

Specific events, programs, products, sponsorships, campaigns, digital experiences, and future Cultural Journeys may include additional terms. Completing a purchase, registration, application, or participation process constitutes acceptance of the applicable terms presented during that process.
