TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Ticket Terms and Conditions apply to paid and complimentary tickets, admissions, registrations, reserved seating, VIP packages, table packages, ticketed livestreams, fundraising-event tickets, event add-ons, and QR-coded credentials sold or issued by Vertières Legacy.
They also apply to ticketed portions of Cultural Journeys, philanthropic programs, educational programs, exhibitions, conferences, and other Vertières Legacy activities.
By purchasing, receiving, transferring, presenting, or using a ticket, the purchaser and attendee agree to these Ticket Terms, the applicable event listing, venue rules, general Terms and Conditions, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and Project, Program and Event Changes, Cancellation and Postponement Policy.
- TICKET AS A REVOCABLE LICENSE
A ticket is a limited, revocable license to attend the identified activity. It does not create ownership of a seat, table, venue area, performance, program, or event.
Admission remains subject to these Ticket Terms, security requirements, age restrictions, venue rules, event-specific terms, and applicable law.
- AUTHORIZED PURCHASES
Purchase tickets only through vertiereslegacy.com or another seller expressly identified by Vertières Legacy.
We cannot authenticate or guarantee tickets obtained from an unauthorized reseller, social-media account, third-party marketplace, screenshot, or private seller.
Vertières Legacy is not responsible for counterfeit, duplicated, altered, stolen, or unauthorized tickets.
- ORDER INFORMATION
The purchaser must provide a valid email address and accurate contact, billing, and attendee information.
Review the activity name, date, time, venue, ticket category, quantity, attendee details, table package, and total price before placing an order.
Contact support@vertiereslegacy.com promptly if a ticket contains an error. Corrections are subject to verification, availability, event rules, and applicable deadlines.
- ELECTRONIC TICKETS AND QR CODES
Electronic tickets are normally delivered by email after successful payment and order processing.
Each ticket contains a unique QR code. Unless expressly stated otherwise, a QR code permits one successful admission scan.
Do not publicly post, forward, photograph, duplicate, or share a ticket or QR code except when completing an authorized transfer.
The first valid scan may be accepted. A copied, canceled, refunded, transferred, altered, or previously scanned code may be rejected.
- DELIVERY AND DEVICE ACCESS
The purchaser is responsible for:
• Providing a correct email address.
• Checking inbox, spam, and junk folders.
• Downloading or opening the ticket before arrival.
• Bringing a sufficiently charged device or clear printed ticket where printing is permitted.
• Contacting support before the activity if the ticket has not arrived.
Failure to locate an email does not create a refund right when the order can be verified and the ticket can reasonably be reissued.
- TRANSFERS AND RESALE
A ticket may be transferred only when the applicable activity permits transfers and the transfer is completed through an approved process.
Commercial resale, speculative resale, unauthorized promotion, or unlawful resale may result in ticket cancellation where legally permitted.
The original purchaser remains responsible for an informal transfer until Vertières Legacy confirms a recognized change.
- TABLES, VIP PACKAGES, AND GROUP ORDERS
A table or VIP package includes only the benefits expressly listed on the applicable page.
Unless otherwise stated:
• Group members must comply with activity and venue rules.
• Guest-list deadlines, arrival procedures, seating, and benefits may be subject to specific instructions.
• Unused seats, late arrival, missed benefits, or partial attendance do not create a partial-refund right.
• Benefits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged without authorization.
- EVENT OR PROGRAM CHANGES
Artists, performers, speakers, supporting acts, hosts, schedules, program order, production elements, menu items, exhibitions, and similar details may change.
A change in an individual artist, supporting act, speaker, host, schedule, or program component does not by itself constitute cancellation when the activity still takes place.
Cancellation, postponement, relocation, or material modification is handled under the applicable changes and cancellation policy.
- ADMISSION AND SECURITY
Attendees must comply with reasonable instructions from organizers, venue staff, security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency personnel.
Lawful ticket, bag, age, identity, and security checks may be required.
An attendee may be denied entry or removed without refund where legally permitted for:
• Fraudulent, duplicated, canceled, refunded, or previously used tickets.
• Violence, threats, harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior.
• Severe intoxication or illegal drug activity.
• Unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Failure to meet stated age, identification, safety, dress, or venue requirements.
• Material disruption or violation of applicable terms or law.
- AGE RESTRICTIONS AND ALCOHOL
Age restrictions will be displayed where applicable.
Attendees must present acceptable government-issued identification when required. Alcohol will be served only in accordance with applicable law and venue policy.
A ticket does not override age or identification requirements.
- PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING
Activities may be photographed, filmed, recorded, or livestreamed.
An attendee’s image, voice, or likeness may appear incidentally in event coverage, archival material, livestreams, reports, or promotional content, subject to applicable law.
Unauthorized professional photography, recording, livestreaming, reproduction, or commercial use may be prohibited.
- ACCESSIBILITY
Contact support@vertiereslegacy.com before purchasing or attending if an accommodation is required.
We will make reasonable efforts to coordinate available accommodations. Facilities controlled by independent venues remain subject to venue capabilities and policies.
- PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND TRANSPORTATION
Attendees are responsible for personal belongings, transportation, parking, lodging, and timely arrival.
Vertières Legacy is not responsible for missed admission caused by traffic, parking, personal transportation, personal scheduling, or failure to follow instructions, except where law requires otherwise.
- FUNDRAISING AND BENEFIT EVENTS
Purchasing admission to a fundraising or benefit event is not automatically a fully tax-deductible contribution.
The value of admission, meals, entertainment, merchandise, advertising, or other benefits may affect tax treatment.
Tax-deductibility will be stated only when supported by the applicable organization and documentation. Attendees should consult their tax advisers.
- REFUNDS
Refunds are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy and the Project, Program and Event Changes, Cancellation and Postponement Policy.
Customer-requested refunds are not ordinarily available because an attendee changes plans, arrives late, misses the activity, or is denied admission for violating applicable rules.
- FRAUD AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
We may hold or cancel an order reasonably suspected of fraud, unauthorized payment, ticket manipulation, or abuse.
Contact support@vertiereslegacy.com before initiating a payment dispute so we can investigate. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
- CULTURAL JOURNEY ADMISSIONS
Tickets included in a Cultural Journey may also be subject to Journey-specific transportation, lodging, documentation, insurance, payment, and cancellation terms.
Journey-specific terms control concerning the travel package where they are more specific.
