Riva Nyri Précil is a Brooklyn-based Haitian multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges music, dance, visual art, cultural preservation, and healing. A graduate of Loyola University New Orleans in Music Therapy, she has developed an artistic practice deeply rooted in Haitian traditions while presenting them through a contemporary global lens.
As a singer and musician, Riva blends traditional Haitian sounds and African-rooted musical traditions with R&B, soul, and jazz. Beyond music, she is an author, visual artist, jewelry maker, dancer, and the director of Tout Se Pa, through which she shares Haitian movement and dance traditions with audiences around the world.
Her creative work—including Altar Art and Wearable Altar—reflects her broader commitment to preserving Caribbean culture, fostering wellness, and creating meaningful connections between spirituality, art, community, and heritage.
