Bal de l’Héritage: New York is an elegant celebration of Haitian heritage, music, culture, and community presented by Vertières Legacy at Melrose Ballroom in New York.

The evening brings together a refined cultural programming, live entertainment, and an unforgettable night of dancing. Guests will experience the distinctive sound of ZAFÈM, featuring Dener Céide and Réginald Cangé, with Riva Nyri Précil as Special Guest and music by DJ Colmix.

General Admission and a curated collection of VIP packages are available, with packages named in honor of historic figures whose courage, leadership, and contributions remain part of Haiti’s national heritage: Marie-Claire Heureuse, Catherine Flon, Sanite Belair, Grann Tòya, Cecile Fatiman, Henry Christophe, François Capois (Capois-la-Mort), and Jean-Jacques Dessalines.

Dress Code: Elegant — Dress to Impress. Guests are encouraged to arrive in stylish evening attire that reflects the significance and sophistication of the occasion. This is a ball, not a black-tie gala; black tie is welcome but not required.

Haitian multidisciplinary artist, singer-songwriter, music therapist, dancer, author, and cultural preservationist. Based in Brooklyn, Riva Nyri Précil is known for blending traditional Haitian music and African-rooted rhythms with R&B, soul, and jazz. Through music, dance, visual art, and her work with Tout Se Pa, she celebrates and preserves Haitian and Caribbean cultural traditions for contemporary audiences worldwide.
